1996 Results of 2nd Annual Chesapeake Chapter Photo Contest
Our 2nd annual photo contest saw a tremendous increase in the number of entries,
making a tough job for Mark Riddick (the contest organizer and head judge),
Herb Entwistle and Henry Gonzalez. The three of them judged all of the entries
and selected the finalists, which were then shown to the Chapter members that attended the September 28th-29th, 1996 meeting in the Tidewater area. Here are the results of the members' vote.

Mark is a highly accomplished photographer himself. He won 1st place in the most recent
U.S. Lighthouse Society Photo Contest with a lovely beach shot of Cape Hatteras,
and you'll find his aerial photograph of Thomas Point lighthouse on the cover of the new
"Mid-Atlantic Lighthouses" pictorial book by Bruce Roberts and Ray Jones."
