Page 7:   2008 Proposed Lighthouse Tours
by Joyce Holland
I just wanted to give our members an update on the progress of the proposed lighthouse tours for our Chapter in 2008.

As you can see in this newsletter, Lynn Biancavilla graciously stepped up to the plate to coordinate the Long Island Challenge bus trip. A lot of members asked for it; and we gave it to you, so come on members let's fill up that bus! If this trip becomes successful then Lynn has agreed to also take on both the Maryland and New Jersey Challenges. She has already discussed some great and creative ideas for them with me.

Regarding the Lower Middle Bay Cruise out to Point-No-Point, Smith Point, Solomon's Lump and Hooper Island, Linda Speece has contacted me and is currently working on the plans for this trip. She plans to select a weekend in August for it; so keep an eye on our website for updated information. In the meantime, if you have any questions for Linda regarding this trip, you can email her at Linda_speece@tdipower.com.

With regards to the Craighill Channel trip, I did have a few people who were interested in planning it, but have not heard back from them. So, it may not happen this year. If it doesn't, then we will try again next year. If you are interested in planning this trip please contact me at hollandraj@aol.com.

See the Trips and Cruises section of this newsletter for all upcoming trips, description and registration coupons. Visit our website for the latest updates.
