From Interstate I-95
Exit at North East Interchange exit 100 on to State Route 272 (across US Rt. 40) through the town of North East. Continue south on MD Route 272 for approx. 10 miles then begin looking for signs to Lighthouse Challenge parking (in Elk Neck State Park).

From Concord Point (approx. drive time 40 min.)
From the intersection of Lafayette and Union Avenue, turn right onto Union. Proceed 0.9 mi. to Otsego St. (Rt.7) at railroad underpass. Turn left on Otsego St., go 0.5 mi. to Rt. 40. Turn right and continue on Rt. 40E for 9.2 mi. (over the Hatem Bridge, $5.00 toll) to Rt. 272. Turn right on Rt. 272, follow for approximately 10 mi. (thru town of North East), then begin looking for signs to Lighthouse Challenge parking (in Elk Neck State Park).

Alternate Directions from St Michaels (approx. drive time 2 hrs)
From Museum Parking Lot, turn left on Talbot Street (East Rt. 33), go left approx. 10 mi. to Rt. 322. Turn left on Rt. 322, proceed 2.0 mi. to Rt. 50W at traffic signal. Continue straight onto Rt. 50W approx 11 mi. Turn right on Centerville Rd/ Rt. 213 for approx. 4 mi. Merge onto Rt. 301 N (Wilmington, DE) for approx. 50 mi. Turn left on US Rt. 40W (Pulaski HWY) for approx. 11 mi. Turn left on Rt. 272 S, for approx. 10 miles then begin looking for signs to Lighthouse Challenge parking (in Elk Neck State Park).

Note: Once you arrive in Elk Neck State Park you must follow the signs to the designated parking area. A FREE shuttle will be available there to take you to the lighthouse path. You must arrive at the parking area no later than 5 p.m. to allow enough time to get to the lighthouse. There is an .8 mile hike to the lighthouse.
