Directions: The Park (open 6 am to sunset) is at the western terminus of the Bay Bridge; follow the signs to Sandy Point State Park - exit 32. The guard can direct you to the lighthouse.
Note: This caisson lighthouse is NOT a required stop along the Challenge route. Vehicle passengers can clearly view the lighthouse from the western portion of the Bay Bridge. You will cross this bridge on Rt. 50 between Baltimore (Seven Foot Knoll) and St. Michaels (Hooper Strait). You can enter the park for a closer view.
Souvenirs and Challenge volunteers WILL NOT be set up at this location. A souvenir of this lighthouse will be available at the Baltimore location for all Challengers whether or not they choose to enter the park.
Park fees: $5 pp/$6 pp out of state.
