From Museum parking lot, turn left on Talbot Street (East Rt. 33), go approx. 10 mi. to Rt. 322. Turn left on Rt. 322, proceed 2.0 mi. to Rt. 50W at traffic signal. Continue straight onto Rt. 50W for approx. 40 mi. (cross Bay Bridge – no toll) to Exit 23A (Parole) to Rt. 2 South (Solomons Island Rd.). Continue approx. 13 mi. to traffic circle, follow sign to Rt. 2 to Prince Frederick. Proceed approx. 13 mi., bear left on Rt. 2-4 South to Prince Frederick/Solomons. Continue straight approx. 28 mi. to Solomons Island Rd. exit just before Gov. Thomas Johnson Bridge. Follow signs to the Calvert Marine Museum.
From Point Lookout (approx. drive time 45 min.)
Leave the Point Lookout State Park via the main drive. Continue north on Route 5 for 7.1 miles - until you reach the blinking light at Route 5 and Route 235. Turn right onto Route 235N. Continue north on Rt. 235, for 17.3 miles, pass the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Turn right onto Route 4 north. Continue on Route 4 N for 4 miles. Cross over the Thomas Johnson Bridge to Solomons, MD. After crossing the bridge - bear right immediately and follow signs for the Calvert Marine Museum. Turn left into the museum complex.
